Some leaderboard types allow participants to set their own personal target. This will then override the default target when configured. Leaderboards will show a message to indicate that personal targets might be used so that users are aware of this when comparing results.
Sync from devices
We can automatically sync some personal targets from certain device types when we have permission to do so. For example, with Garmin and Apple Watch devices we can automatically sync the personal target from the device to ensure our leaderboards have the same personal target as the user has configured on their device.
Configure Personal Targets in Profile
All participants can configure their personal targets on their Edit Profile screen. They can set their daily target for steps, active time, and more so we can use this on the leaderboards.
Limit Personal Targets
As the challenge administrator you can configure custom lower and upper boundaries on personal targets. You can do this in the Rules section of the Settings screen of your event. This will override any personal target a user might have set. For example, when a user has configured 3,000 steps per day as their target but you have set a minimum of 5,000 steps per day on your leaderboard, then the system will use the 5,000 steps as the personal target for that user on this specific leaderboard.
