You can use our app to track your activities. Our app can be used to track outdoors activities (using GPS to track distance) as well as for indoor activities such as yoga where we only track the duration and not use GPS data.
The first time you use the app you are asked to give permission so we may use your GPS data. Please make sure to approve this request. Otherwise we cannot track the distance of your activities.
Rest assured, we only use the GPS data when you're actively tracking an activity. The moment you finish your activity we will no longer use your GPS data.
How-to track an activity
Step 1: Click the "+ Activity" button in the app.
Click the "+ Activity" button floating near the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Select the type of activity
Select the type of activity you are about to start. This is important as some challenges only allow certain types of activities to count. Please select "Other" if your activity type is not in the list.
Tap Start Tracking to go the next screen.
Step 3: Give permission and start the activity
The first time (only), our app will ask for permission to access your GPS. Please provide this permission by selecting "While using the app"
The app may also ask to access your fitness activity, again, please click Allow to enable us to access your location data needed to track your activity.
Finally, click Start to start tracking and get going!
Note: we display the distance in your preferred unit (kilometers or miles) which you can configure in the Edit Profile screen.
Step 4: Stop and save the activity
When you're done with your activity, tap the Stop button and then tap Save to save your activity.
Please keep in mind that leaderboards are updated every 10-15 minutes so it might take a few minutes for your new activity to show on the leaderboard.
