It is possible to customize the app to make it adjust it to your design requirements and brand guidelines.
The most important option is the brand color which can be set on the Edit Event page. This color is used to customize various options on the screen. The foreground text will automatically switch between black or white depending on the 'lightness' of the selected color so that there is always contrast between background and text.
Looking at the Event screen (where the app typically starts) we can dissect the app in various components. The components are listed top to bottom. The screenshot to the right is used as an example configuration with various options enabled.
Header Logo: a square image (displayed on white) of at least 400x400 pixels. The image will be resized to fit and center. Background: a rectangular image of about 1150x300 pixels. Due to the variety of devices on which this is shown the image might not entirely be visible. Keep padding to ensure any content might be clipped of from all sizes. Especially on the left side as the logo will overlap the background. | |
Register / Call-to-Action Bar An optional bar which can include a single configurable button linking to a registration page or some other relevant external website. It will take the event color. Configurable options:

Event Intro Customizable content (may include images and/or links). This is the "Event Intro" field on the Edit event page. Can be used to show sponsors or important instructions at the top. Tables can be used to add multiple images next to each other. Each image should be at least 1000x300 pixels. | |
Leaderboard tiles A tile for each leaderboard. Each tile can be customized. Configurable options:
